I purchased these boots last year for myself as a Christmas gift from my husband! I got them right away, and immediately fell in love with the color and style. The first time I wore them, I risked wearing them to work before breaking them in. By the end of the day though, my feet felt great! These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've worn...boots or not! A year later, I get compliments on them every time I wear them. Buy these boots--you will not be disappointed. As for the size, I am an 8-1/2, and probably could have done an 8...but I like the roominess in the toe area, and wouldn't say they are too big. They just allow more room in the front. I think I wouldn't like my toes squished into the tip, so am happy with the size. Love Love Love!
